So its about the Dirty Picture, I m expecting this movie since I heard the gossips regarding the same.My expectation is mainly because of only one reason...Vidya balan+N Shah......Ishqiya was the one I just loved....I love and admire Vidya among all the new generation superstars as she wont just go and do a pinky ponky role but it would be meaty it would stand as the hero all along the movie....Anyway we can go to the review
The Dirty Picture - The Best Picture
Movie starts of with the poor lady roaming around for small chances in movies to feed herself. But still the silver screen is her dream and she didn't got a change to be there....One day she did an item dance in a movie by chance and leave it on hoping that it would be her first silver screen appearance and happily goes with her mentor to the theater to watch her but unfortunately that didnt happened as the director removed the song as he is finding that doesnt suit his movie....but the producer feels sad as his cash registers are empty and to get his money back,he is including the song our heroine does and there starts the real story of Silk.....Yaaa off course the dirty picture starts its track rolling from there......Wonderfully Wonderful .....
The movie has Vidya ,Vidya and Vidya .........Sometimes even N Shah are overshadowed by Vidya's acting....I think words are not enough to explain her acting....A Silk was re produced on the screen....Not even a single time my eyes went to her cleavage or tummy always get stucked up on the wonderful emotions Vidya's face was delivering every moment...Every character was justified by the actors....I felt Imran Hashmi was little replicated by his emotions he has delivered in the old movies but still he was good and well fitted to the role.....The movie superbly showcases the emerging of a local lady to the sultry siren of the Indian Cinemas and then just becoming getting down to a level of a B grade actress and then committing suicide. Not even a single scene will make you bored. Vidya has wonderful fitted into the character...The weight she has put on definitely added an advantage for her in making this one perfectly perfect ...The oolaa ollaa tune will keep you going all over the 2 30 hours....
There is one dialogue in the movie.....'Silk...These times we have lot of heroines but you are the real superstar of heroines' yeah I felt the same saying to Vidya....' aaaj times mein heroines bahuth hothi hein leiken tu heroines ka superstar hee'......The editing of the movie deserves a special mention as the color tune matches well with the scenes and the moof of the scene this happens very rarely in movies especially in Indian movies... most of the times the color tunes and moods wont getting synched up always...The movie also doesnt show cases the downing of Silk but also another upcoming Shakeela.....Music department also scores well with Ollaaa olaaa tuning you up all over the movie...The retro looks are also maintained perfectly
My Rating is 8/10----Watch it out otherwise you will miss a wonderful acting performance.....Your money is double worth
